BSNL’s 20GB 3G data offer for Rs 50 is a hoax

Before you ditch your operator to lineup for a BSNL sim card, be warned that there is no such offer like 20GB 3G data for Rs 50 by the state-owned telecom operator. 

While BSNL is yet to release an official statement, sources confirmed that there is no such offer for consumers.
"BSNL has not officially declared any offer like 20GB 3G data for Rs 50 and neither does the company intends to do so," he said.

A couple of days back several websites reported that BSNL has introduced a new 3G data offer in which prepaid customers will get 20GB data for just Rs 50. The offer sounded too good to be true and started to trend online.
